Every AI agreed on four teams yesterday. All four lost.
Yesterday was one of those nights that keeps us honest. Across 13 games the AI consensus went 7-6, which reads fine until you look at where it went wrong. Eight times all nine models landed on the same side. Four of those cruised. The other four, Washington at Coors, Atlanta, Milwaukee and Miami, got buried. When the whole field agrees it usually wins around 61 percent of the time. Yesterday it was a coin flip, 4-4.
Both Claudes led the room again at 8-5, Gemini 3.5 Flash brought up the rear at 5-8, and on the experts side DRatings and ESPN's BPI matched the best models at 8-5. OddsShark's computer had the day nobody wants, 2-8. One reader picked on the community board and went 2-1. Our own Daily Edge, the DeepSeek under in Boston, landed right on the number and graded a push, so the ledger holds at 3-2-1 and plus 0.69 units, up 13.8 percent since it started.
The one that stung
If you want the game that summed it up, it was the Mets in Milwaukee. All nine models were on the Brewers. New York shut them out 4-0. No bad hop, no drama, just a clean whitewash of a team the entire field agreed on. There was a version of the same story at Coors, where every model took Washington and watched Colorado win 8-7, the kind of altitude night that makes a moneyline up there a genuine dare.
The flip side is the field knew exactly which games were laughers. It went 9-for-9 on Tampa Bay in a 12-2 rout, on Texas in a 10-0 shutout, and rode the Cubs to an 11-2 romp. When the AIs are right they are very right. It is the close ones where everybody gets humbled together.

Today's board, and the fade
Seventeen games today, first pitch at 1:05 PM ET. The field is unanimous on a stack of them, with Boston, Milwaukee, San Francisco and Washington among the nine-model locks. Thirteen games clear our Claude Consensus rule this morning and five qualify for the DeepSeek under.
The Wednesday fade is Minnesota at Cleveland, 6:40 PM ET. Our AI field is a clean 7-for-7 on the Guardians. The tracked experts are leaning the other way, four of seven on Minnesota. It is the sharpest disagreement on the board, our heat score has it at 79, and by the last out one side's whole worldview takes a loss. We grade it in public either way, same as everything else, losses included.

On Pro
Today's Edge is already live. It came off The Claude Consensus, the rule that is 116-67 on the season and up 15.9 percent, and it survived the research pass as our strongest read of the day. See today's Edge on Pro, nine dollars a month.
Today's Edge: Nationals moneyline at Coors, on a stacked Claude Consensus. WSH ML at -135. Both Claudes landed on Washington line-blind, it is an away-side agreement, the rule's hottest subset, and DeepSeek's under on the same game stacks a second Tier 1 read on top. Cade Cavalli is the steadier arm against a small-sample Rockies rookie, and the line has moved toward Washington to -135. The catch, and we say it plainly, is Coors, where any moneyline is one crooked inning from turning over.
