Privacy Policy

Predicted Sports is built around a simple principle: we don’t want your data, we just need enough of it to give you an account. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what we don’t do with it.

What we collect

• Your email address — used to identify your account and send transactional messages (password reset, billing receipts).
• Your password — stored as a one-way bcrypt hash. We never see, log, or store your plaintext password.
• Your subscription status — whether you have an active premium plan and when it renews. Billing details (card number, address) are handled entirely by Stripe; we never see or store them.
• Basic session data — a session cookie that keeps you logged in.

What we don’t do

• We do not sell your data to anyone, for any reason.
• We do not share your personal information with third parties for marketing or advertising.
• We do not use your activity on the site to build a profile about you, target you with ads, or sync with ad networks.
• We do not track you across other websites.

Third-party services we rely on

• Stripe — handles all billing and payment processing. Your card details go directly to Stripe and never touch our servers. Stripe’s own privacy policy applies to that data.
• Anonymous analytics — we use a privacy-respecting analytics provider to understand which pages and features get used. The data we receive is aggregated and anonymized: page views, referrers, country, device type. It does not include personally identifiable information and we cannot correlate it back to your account.
• Hosting and infrastructure — our application runs on standard cloud infrastructure with industry-standard security practices.

Cookies

We use a session cookie to keep you logged in. That’s it. No advertising cookies, no cross-site tracking pixels, no third-party identifiers. The analytics provider we use does not set cookies that follow you between sites.

Your rights

You can do the following at any time:

• Cancel your subscription through your account page (or directly via the Stripe customer portal).
• Request a copy of the data we hold about you by emailing us.
• Request deletion of your account and associated data by emailing us. We will delete your account record; some derived data (e.g. anonymized usage events) may persist in aggregated form but cannot be tied back to you.

Children

Predicted Sports is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has signed up, please contact us and we will delete the account.

Security

We follow standard security practices: encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords (bcrypt), least-privilege access to production systems. No system is perfect; if we ever become aware of a breach affecting your account, we will notify you promptly.

Changes to this policy

If we materially change what we collect or how we use it, we’ll update this page and post the new “last updated” date at the top. For any change that meaningfully reduces your privacy protections, we’ll also notify active users by email.
