Update, Tuesday evening: after this issue went out, MLB postponed Orioles at Red Sox and Pirates at Yankees ahead of the storm system, both now Wednesday doubleheaders. Today's slate is 13 games, and the Daily Edge on the Boston total is void, no action, exactly as a sportsbook would grade it. The ledger is untouched at 3-2.

Yesterday put the machines in their place. The AI field's consensus went 7-8 across Monday's fifteen games, and the day belonged to a ratings site: DRatings went 11-4 on winners, the best card of any picker we track. Dimers went 9-6, the Covers crowd finished 6-7, and inside the field DeepSeek V4 Pro was the only model with a winning day at 9-6 while GLM 5.2 brought up the rear at 6-9. Our Daily Edge lost. We took the Cardinals at even money in Anaheim off the Claude Consensus and they dropped it 3-2, and after a grading correction on an earlier pick the ledger stands at 3-2 for +0.69 units. The loss stays on the card either way. That is what a graded record looks like some mornings.

Today's board has fourteen games, first pitch 6:40 PM ET, and the field woke up opinionated: nine of the fourteen are unanimous calls, including all nine models on Cleveland, Boston, and Atlanta, and every reporting model on Tampa Bay as road favorites in Toronto. The disagreement of the night is in Houston at 8:10, and it is total: all seven reporting models take Miami, all four tracked experts take the Astros. Somebody's whole worldview takes a loss by midnight. On the strategy board, twenty-four plays qualify across our four MLB rules today, including one game where the whole field is on a market underdog.

Tuesday is model spotlight day, and the spotlight belongs on the gap between the season and the moment. Claude Opus 4.8 still leads the board where it matters, 59% on winners across 239 graded games, the largest sample of any model. But DeepSeek quietly keeps having the right kind of bad taste: its 9-6 Monday came from backing three road teams the experts wanted no part of, and its under-heavy totals instinct remains the only totals signal that has stayed profitable in every stretch we have graded. The full standings, Brier scores included, live on the leaderboard, losses and all.

One Pro line and we will let you go: today's Daily Edge is live, drawn from the DeepSeek Under, the only totals rule on our board that has stayed profitable in every stretch we have graded, now 68-48 for +15.5% ROI at the lines the model actually saw. The pick, the price, and the reasoning are on Pro for $9 a month at predictedsports.com/pro. Graded in public either way, as Monday just demonstrated.

Today's Edge: Under 8.5, Orioles at Red Sox (-120), 7:10 PM ET. DeepSeek projects 8.1 runs against our locked 8.5, and the DeepSeek Under is 68-48 (+15.5% ROI) graded at pick-time lines. Suarez against Bradish is two strikeout starters in the slate's best pitching weather, and the market moved 8.5 to 8 against 95% of the handle sitting on the over, so we hold a half-run the books no longer sell. The counterweight is real: Boston has won 14 straight and this same matchup produced 11 runs last night.
