The finding, from 180 graded games, is that full unanimity mostly means the game is easy, not that the field knows something. Read it before you treat 11-0 as a lock.

The case is not subtle: Cam Schlittler takes a 2.04 ERA into the Bronx against a Cardinals offense that ranks dead last in baseball in wRC+ over the last 30 days. The only genuine split on tonight's slate: seven models on the Giants, four on Texas. The dissenters have Logan Webb's July on their side, a 6.59 ERA over his last five starts with three or more runs allowed in four of them. The seven have Rafael Devers, hitting .311 with a .974 OPS over the last two weeks, and a career 7-for-14 with a 1.462 OPS against Cal Quantrill.

Ten models, all ten on the road team at Coors Field. Michael Lorenzen brings a 3-9 record, a 6.54 ERA and a 1.81 WHIP to the one park that forgives none of that, while Ian Seymour arrives 7-3 for Tampa Bay. A unanimous road board at altitude is rare enough to be worth a look on its own.
